In the daylight the 22.8cm diameter globe shows political boundaries, oceans, equator, longitude and latitude lines, country names, capital cities and other major cities for each country in the world.

By night, cleverly, the globe magically transforms into an illuminated map of city lights - the Earth at night as seen from space.

The globe is illuminated with colour changing LEDs which gently scroll from red to green to white and blue.

An advanced light sensor automatically turns on the LED illumination whenever the ambient light in the room reaches a trigger level of darkness.
